bet365 at the Resorts World Catskills Sportsbook NY
Back in 2018, bet365 announced its partnership with Empire Resorts. The partnership implied that the two parties would collaborate on launching a sportsbook for the Resorts World Catskills venue, both physical and online.
In June 2019, regulators have finally approved the bill for land-based sportsbooks in New York, including the Resorts World Catskills. Bettors will need to be 21 or older and will be able to place bets on horse racing and professional and amateurs sports, but not on non-sporting events.
Resorts World Catskills will have to apply for a sports betting license from the NYSGC. After that, the sportsbook will probably have a testing period before its final launch, which is expected towards the end of summer.
